  • Normal stamping (Blanking, Bending, Forming, Piercing, Coining…)
  • Progressive die- / high-speed stamping
  • Robot stamping

From low to high quantity items we are your preferred manufacturer for stamping products. We provide all secondary finishing processes such as welding, bending and surface treatment like powder coating and anodizing. In the progressive metal stamping industry, X-PROCAD is a leader. We manufacture automotive metal stampings, sheet metal stampings, and automotive parts. To the automotive industry, X-PROCAD offers all types of progressive and sheet metal stampings services at affordable prices.

Bending The material is deformed or bent along a straight line
Flanging The material is bent along a curved line
Embossing The material is streched into a shallow depression. Used primarily for adding decorative patterns.
Blanking A piece is cut out of the sheet of the material, ususally to make a blank for further processing
Coining A pattern is compressed or squeezed into the material. Traditionally used to make coins
Drawing The surface area of a blank is streched into an alternate shape via controlled material flow.
Stretching The surface area of a blank is increased by tension, with no inward movement of the blank edge. Often used to make smooth auto body parts
Ironing The material is squeezed and reduced in thickness along a vertical wall. Used for beverage cans
Reducing / Necking Used to gradually reduce the diameter of the open end of a vessel or tube.
Curling Deforming material into a tubular profile. Door hinges are a common example.
Hemming Holding an edge over onto itself to add thickness. The edges of automobile doors are usually hemmed

We connect you with the best designers in the business, and we offer the most comprehensive set of services for inventors you’ll find anywhere. We take the guesswork out of online design services, and let you focus on what’s important.

How do private projects work?

Simple. Just send us a project brief and we will provide you with a design quote from a pre-qualified designer for your project.

Who can see my project?

Private projects are entirely confidential. Only you and the designer that you will be working with will see your project description, file attachments and submitted work.

Do I own the designs & IP?

Yes. Our legally binding terms of service assign the ownership of intellectual property (IP) from the designer to the service buyer for any paid designs.

Do you offer manufacturing services?

Yes we do! We offer a range of  manufacturing services, including 3D printing, rapid manufacturing and conventional injection molding.

How is a design project different from hourly services?

Design projects are limited-term projects with a concrete budget, based on an upfront quote from the CAD designer. Hourly services are for ongoing work that generally have an open work scope.

Will designers sign a NDA?
